Program News & Announcements
How can we help you more effectively?
Please take a few minutes to tell your Student & Academic Engagement team – Claire Jefferies, Sarah Pickel, and Deborah Waller Wilkins – how we’re doing and where we can improve. We’re also collecting data on concentrations to help faculty better plan for course offerings in future semesters. Please take a moment to fill out the survey – and please be honest, your responses are anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to help us serve you better.

Meet a Jenkins MBA: The Weekly Spotlight
NAME: Rudhawarsh Loganathan
TITLE: First-year Jenkins full-time MBA; Engineer Analyst, John Deere
HOMETOWN: Kalpakkam, India
PREVIOUS DEGREES: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, PSG College of Technology
Q: What’s the most fun or enlightening experience you’ve had in the MBA program so far?
A: Being part of the Business Sustainability Collaborative. It showed me how to incorporate sustainability in my decision-making without compromising my career aspirations.
Q: If you had 5 minutes to teach someone something new, what would you teach?
A: How to make someone feel special in five minutes. For five minutes, listen to that person. Ask questions that show your interest in knowing him/her better. Smile when the person smiles, and laugh when the person laughs. Your actions in five minutes can make a lot of difference in that person’s life.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
A: My father once said, “If you stop yourself from doing a certain work because you feel you might get embarrassed, don’t hesitate to do that job – just do it. Very few have the guts to face that embarrassment, and those few people are the ones who make a difference in this world.”
Q: Suppose someone offered you a week’s vacation anywhere on Earth – all expenses paid, no cost to you. Where would you go, and what would you want to see / experience while you’re there?
A: I hate traveling, so the place I would like to go would be to Ooty, a place in India. It’s in mountains – greenery all around, with a pleasant weather. I want to spend the time with my mom, dad, brother and my dog (OM) and talk about anything and everything.
Q: What’s your favorite “comfort food,” and when do you like to make & enjoy it?
A: Spicy pepper chicken curry with rice. I enjoy it when I eat it with my friends and family together.
Q: What’s your favorite song to cheer you up, get you pumped up, or ready to face the day?
A: “Breaking the habit” by Linkin Park.
Q: What’s your dream job / career goal?
A: To be a supply chain strategist who incorporates sustainability into the supply chain of a company.
