Please note that NC State IT personnel will never ask for your password, by email or otherwise. Anytime you receive an email asking you to do this, you should consider it phishing. If you wish to report it, you can forward the message, along with the full headers, to phishing@ncsu.edu.

Q: Tell us something about you that we might be surprised to find out!

A:  I think most people are interested when they find out that I used to be a licensed skydiver and I’ve made over 300 jumps.

Q: What’s the most fun or enlightening experience you’ve had in the MBA program so far?

A: MBA 511, Data Security and Privacy, with Dr. Earp was very enlightening for me.  Besides providing some very useful technical information, it really opened my eyes to how much complexity and risk are involved in this rapidly-changing topic.

Q:  Suppose someone offered you a week’s vacation anywhere on Earth – all expenses paid, no cost to you.  Where would you go, and what would you want to see / experience while you’re there?

A:  I’ve got a big travel wish list, but since we’re talking all expenses paid, I’d choose Maldives.  I would just love to hang out on those beaches and relax.

Q:  What’s your favorite song to cheer you up, get you pumped up, or ready to face the day?

A:  Wow, to narrow this down to one song is tough, but one of my favorites is “Right Now” by Van Halen.

Q: What’s your dream job / career goal?  How is the Jenkins MBA helping you get there?

A:  I think it would be great to own a business with my wife, who already finished the MBA program.  We’ve tossed around a few ideas, such as a wedding venue or doggy day care.  The program is helping to expose me to aspects of business to which I didn’t previously have much knowledge or experience.
