The event was hosted by the Carolina Fintech Hub and challenged teams to conceptualize the process of carrying out a complete blockchain project from a case study to the development of a Proof Of Concept (POC).

Team Kalehdoo was recognized for analyzing a unique operating model and a go-to-market strategy. The core concept in their pitch centered around making improvements in the clinical research space, more specifically the way clinical trials are conducted. The competition was sponsored by the Carolina Fintech Hub, SiaPartners, Oracle, AuraBlocks and Envestnet Yodlee.
