Chief Sales Officer at SAS Paula Henderson ‘94 to Speak at Poole College of Management Commencement
NC State Poole College of Management has announced Paula Henderson, executive vice president and chief sales officer of SAS, as the speaker for the 2021 commencement ceremony. Poole College will have a virtual ceremony on May 13 at 6 p.m. EST.
At SAS, Henderson leads a variety of teams across the Americas in industries such as government, financial services, health care, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, energy and telecommunications. Since joining the software company in 2002, Henderson has held a variety of roles and most recently served as the senior vice president of U.S. commercial and government sales.
“We are excited to have Paula speak to our spring and summer 2021 graduates. Her journey and thought leadership will have significant life lessons that, we know our graduates will welcome,” said Brian Clark, executive director of development and external relations. “Our students and faculty have worked to push through the challenges of this year, so we’re looking forward to celebrating their accomplishments.”
Henderson is inspired by the endless possibilities of using data and analytics to make a difference for organizations, communities, and constituents. She is fueled by her passion to find answers and empowers her teams to help customers apply analytics to improve their organizations, better serve customers and tackle humanitarian issues around the world.
Henderson is an NC State and Poole College alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in management she received in 1994. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Meredith College in 1996.
