Current MBA Students
Currently enrolled NC State MBA students must complete the certificate data plan entry form and email it to their academic advisor to participate in a certificate program.
All prospective students not currently enrolled in the NC State MBA program (including NDS and graduate students at NCSU) must complete the Graduate School application for admission and select a certificate program as the desired major. Students accepted into certificate programs may begin taking courses in the first semester in which the appropriate course is being taught. Current degree students at NCSU are encouraged to apply to a certificate program as early as possible to increase the chances of MBA course registration.
Applicants apply online through the NC State Graduate School portal. Applications are currently being accepted for review now. To be considered for Spring admission, apply by October 31st. For Fall admissions, the deadline to apply is May 15th. Applications submitted after these deadlines will only be considered if space is available.
Applicants should upload their resume, a personal statement, and transcripts. Applicants may be selected for interviews on a case-by-case basis. Please note application does not guarantee admission.
