Previous Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh

Alokananda Bhowmik is a second year full-time MBA student. Her concentration is in Financial Management and she is also pursuing certification in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. Before starting this program, she acquired roughly five years of experience in Treasury & Investment Banking Operations. Post MBA, she plans to join the Strategy and Management Program of Bank of America. She aims to be a finance professional in investment banking or management consulting.

Alokananda was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved to the United States in 2019. Currently, she is living in Raleigh, North Carolina. During her free time, she enjoys travelling, reading, and going for long walks. She loves volunteering for humanitarian organizations and has had the opportunity to work with American Red Cross, Girls and Boys of Charlotte and Holy Cross Mission Dhaka.
