Chris Miller

Chris Miller is in his final year of the Jenkins MBA program with a concentration in business leadership and business analytics. He currently resides in Zebulon, NC with his wonderful wife, Christiana, who recently completed her PhD at NC State. They are very excited to be welcoming their first child to the world in November 2022.

Originally from Richmond, VA, Chris completed his undergraduate studies in mining engineering at Virginia Tech. Upon graduating in 2013, he began working for Iluka Resources in southern Virginia providing engineering support in the areas of mining and reclamation. In 2018, Chris and his wife relocated to Zebulon, NC as she started her graduate program at NC State. In late 2021, Chris started working for Martin Marietta, a leading supplier of aggregates and building material, as a senior mine engineer.

Chris has thoroughly enjoyed his time so far in the MBA program and is very excited to be selected as one of NC State’s McLauchlan Leadership Fellows where he can further learn, grow, and serve with his classmates.
