Jessica Day grew up in Knightdale, NC, and has seen it grow from a small community to one of the fastest-growing towns in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is currently pursuing her MBA at NC State University’s Poole College of Management.
Jessica has spent most of her career in supply chain, starting with Syngenta Crop Protection and later continuing in the Agro-Chemical business with BASF Chemical Company. Since the start of her career, she has had the opportunity to gain additional experience in real estate sales, insurance sales, and financial education.
Jessica has had the opportunity to serve in several leadership positions. She became the first African American female to be elected to the Knightdale Town Council in 2017 and became Mayor Pro Tem in 2019. In January 2021 she became the first African American Female to hold the seat of Mayor for the Town of Knightdale.
She has taken her passion for helping others and her leadership experience to become an executive coach training and supporting business leaders in operational excellence. She provides coaching and consulting services to optimize performance, facilitate change, increase value creation, and improve business efficiency and effectiveness.
