Patience Toukam

Previous Education: Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations, Seton Hall University; LLB in Law and Political Science, Faculty of Law/University of Dschang – Cameroon

Patience Toukam is a second-year full time MBA candidate, concentrating in Supply Chain, Innovation Management and Business Analytics. Prior to joining the Jenkins MBA program, Patience had a variety of industry experience, working at the United Nations, US Small Business Administration and as a financial services professional at PFS Investments, Inc. He joined the MBA program to explore a new career path and had the opportunity to work at Eaton Corporation as a Supply Chain Intern over the summer.

As an immigrant from Cameroon, Patience is a lifelong Learner and believes that education is not only a right, but also a vital tool to change the world. Patience is passionate about community development and has served as a Board member of Newark African Commission appointed by the Mayor of the City of Newark, New Jersey and has co-founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth and women empowerment in Cameroon. For him, family is the foundation of a better society. Hence, outside of work and business school, he spends time playing and traveling with his wonderful kids, Sheryl, Nick, Noah and Nathan, and his lovely wife Marie.
