Phil Young

Previous Education: BS Business Administration, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Phil has worked in leadership roles for over 20 years in technology, higher education, banking and hospitality. Currently, he is the Assistant Director for Professional Services at the University of North Carolina. In this role he is responsible for a broad range of IT services that enhance the experience for the residents of Carolina Housing. He also leads and mentors a team of 50+ student staff in his department.

Phil graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He joined the Jenkins Professional Online MBA in Fall of 2020 to enhance his business knowledge and skills. He plans to graduate in the Spring of 2023. He is a father of three and lives in Wake Forest with his wife, children and pets. He is a passionate amateur chef with a championship-winning chili recipe and a love for BBQ cuisine.
