Velu Karicheti

Velu Karicheti is in his third year of the Professional Evening MBA program and is aiming to complete the MBA program by end of 2023. Currently, he is the Senior Manager of Surgical Model Portfolio Acceleration at Charles River Laboratories, a life sciences contract research company. He is the principal point of contact for rodent surgical models and services in North America, helping scientists solve problems to progress drug discovery.

Velu is an accomplished global pharmaceutical research scientist and entrepreneur. He has been doing non-clinical drug discovery research for more than 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, and his Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India.

Velu holds US-issued patents and is a co-founder of Urogenix, Inc and Dignify Therapeutics.
