Q: Why did you choose the NC State Jenkins MBA program for your graduate education?
A: I completed my undergrad at NC State. While vetting programs, the value of the NC State program made this decision easy.
Q: How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
A: The experience in the MBA program has positioned me to be a leader in my practice.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA Program?
A: I enjoyed the collaboration amongst the students.
Q: What do you miss most now that you have graduated?
A: I miss learning new things.
Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?
A: Some of the most impactful classes were TEC certification and Entrepreneurship.
Q: What advice do you have for prospective Jenkins MBA students?
A: My advice would be to dig in, immerse yourself.
Q: What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?
A: MBA + Engineering is a strong combination. Being able to speak the technical language and the business side will set you up for success.
Q: Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
A: I am a Civil Engineer at a privately held company. I manage the business side of our small practice within the firm. I also serve as the workload and pro:tability person in our org.
Q: What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?
A: Starting a project management system for our fast paced practices.
Q: What are your goals and plans for the future?
A: Increase my sphere of influence across our firm, service my clients more efficiently, promote teamwork and continue to grow our firm.
