Q: Why did you choose the NC State Jenkins MBA program for your graduate education?
A: Reputation and price.
Q: How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
A: Earning the degree will open doors to new opportunities for me down the road, but for now, I am satisfied with my current employer and role within this organization. Internal to my organization, I have been nominated to a management development program and I believe my the efforts I put towards earning my graduate degree contributed to that nomination.
Q: What did you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA program?
A: Interaction with fellow professionals within the program.
Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?
A: Time management was a critical piece and I became much better at managing my schedule that was always packed. Classes taught by Kirkman, Devine, and Bradford were fantastic. Very impactful classes.
Q: What are your lasting impressions of the Jenkins MBA program?
A: Overall good impression of NC State. I have a closer sense of connection with the school and enjoy meeting fellow alumni.
Q: What advice do you have for prospective Jenkins MBA students?
A: Don’t let the opportunity pass by. If you have the urge to earn a degree, DO IT! The experience is what you make of it. Do not let the classes come to you. Make yourself uncomfortable by trying new things and meeting new people.
Q: Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
A: I manage the global supply for a French pharmaceutical manufacturer. I have an interest in Supply Chain Management and enjoy the complexity of all aspects of the flow of material, information and funds across an organization.
Q: What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?
A: The nomination to the Management Program at my organization. This is a very visible opportunity to the executive management team and I will be assigned to a project that will allow me to showcase my skills and abilities.
Q: What are your goals and plans for the future?
A: Upward progression in Supply Chain Management role.
