Brandon Champion is an information security professional with over twenty years of industry experience.  He is currently the Director of Global Information Security at Qorvo Inc, an international semiconductor company with over fifty administrative, engineering design and manufacturing locations across the globe. Before accepting his role at Qorvo, he was responsible for information, personnel and physical security for a Federally Funded Research and Development Center in Virginia. Additionally, he serves as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army National Guard and is assigned to North Carolina’s Cyber Defense Network Team. He is also an adjunct professor at several universities, where he teaches courses in Information Technology.

Champion earned an M.S. in IT from University of Maryland University College and a B.S.(summa cum laude) in Applied IT from the University of Baltimore.  He is currently pursuing a MBA at North Carolina State University where he hopes to increase his business knowledge to better communicate and influence change across all levels of the enterprise.
