Why did you choose the NC State Jenkins MBA program for your graduate education?

As a single parent of three, I appreciated the proximity of classes in the RTP, the weeknight schedule, and the value.  I found the quality of instruction to be excellent. Face-to-face contact with classmates and team projects helped me learn about a variety of industries and build a network of friends.

How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?

My MBA coincided with a transition into higher level leadership positions in the corporate healthcare world.  Now, as a founder of my own business, I find the MBA has given me tools to be successful.

What did you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA program?

Our study abroad trip with Dr. Allen was outstanding. The class and trip were very well organized with many opportunities to see business incubation and hear from business owners in South America.

Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?

At Zolor Group, I help non-profit leaders reduce waste and become more efficient in their work processes.  This leads to serving more people in need with fewer dollars. We use graphic facilitation to engage the team for innovation and redesigns. It is fun and tremendously rewarding work because of the overall social impact.
