Q: Why did you choose the Jenkins MBA for your education?

Perfect combination of academic work and real life experience.

Q: How did your experience in the MBA program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?

The amount of work was intense, which is no different than real life. In addition, having exposure to different aspects of the business gave me a unique perspective to navigate the date-to-date reality and appreciate the challenges of the different departments / sides of the business.

Q: What did you enjoy most about your time in the MBA program?

The quality and caliber of professors and the diverse student population, creating a very unique experience.

Q: What do you miss most now that you have graduated?

The ability to network with a wide variety of individuals from different industries and very diverse experiences.

Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?

This is a difficult question to answer as I learned so much from each one of them.

Q: What are your lasting impressions of your the Jenkins MBA program?

Excellent program and I genuinely believe I could not have had a better experience anywhere else. From the presentation skills class that transformed me as a professional, to the real life projects, I could not have asked for a more real life / intensive training.

Q: What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?

The program will definitely give you what is needed to succeed, but at the end of the day, it is all about what you make of it and how you apply the concepts learned during the time at Poole. It will provide you with real life experience that will help navigate the different aspects of the business and be success in a variety of roles.

Q: What advice do you have for prospective MBA students?

Be prepared to work hard and absorb as much as you can out of it, because the learning experience will certainly change the way you look at businesses.

Q: Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?

Global marketing. The program gave me a better appreciation of the marketing function and helped open doors that led to the position I am in today.

Q: What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?

Since graduating I have been in a variety of roles, from product management, to head of sales and currently as a Vice President of Global Marketing.
