Opportunity to work on real world problems through practicum courses offered and building a strong theoritical foundation simultaneously
How did your experience in the MBA program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
My MBA experience made me ready to show off and dazzle my team members with my talents on day 1. It gave me the education to speak the lingo and the hands on experience to know what it takes to successfully execute a task at work.
What did you enjoy most about your time in the MBA program?
Working with clients on their issues via the practicum courses. And I loved the Consumer Behavior and Advance Finance course. The two courses are on complete opposite ends in terms of assignments and theoritical concepts, but same in terms of the feeling I got in nailing an assignment!
What do you miss most now that you have graduated?
What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?
Always be prepared to learn on the job. Chaos is your friend as the world of data and analytics is as dirty as enlightening the insights are. Keep the mindset of failing and learning quickly from your failures to experiment new approaches for projects.
What advice do you have for prospective MBA students?
Come with an open mind and be ready to be challenged every day. There is nothing like it and you will love every bit of it!
Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
Currently working as a Sr. Analyst for the enterprise finance team for a $10B company with significant exposure to leadership. Provinding insights on business operations all the way upto the CEO, provides me an unique opportunity to deliver results to change how we satisfy our customers.
What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?
Mentor an organization to get comfortable with the concept of data driven decision making. Delivering results that has the ability to change the company’s business model.
What are your goals and plans for the future?
In the short term, I see myself leading a team of crazy analytical mind folks and have a blast in delivering results.
