Q: How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?

A:  Since graduating from the program, I obtained a promotion and salary increase in my current role. I believe earning my MBA was a significant factor in my boss’ decision to increase my competency level.

Q: What did you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA program?

A: I made connections and developed long-term friendships with a few other students. The program helped me connect with other NC State employees, so it enhanced my professional development in ways I did not expect

Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?

A: The most impactful class I took was the Study Abroad Innovation course in Munich with Professor Bohlmann. This was my first time traveling outside of the country, and the information I learned from visiting innovative companies was invaluable. I also took the opportunity to visit my family out once the class ended, so we had an unforgettable experience abroad thanks to the Jenkins program.

A: I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the program, so much so that I have encouraged others to apply. I just submitted a recommendation for one of my direct reports.

A: I am the Business Officer for NC State University Communications and Marketing. I have a background in HR and Finance, and this was an opportunity to apply both of those skillsets.

Q: What are your goals and plans for the future?

A: Ultimately, I am seeking to become an AVC of Finance and Administration for a central department or college.
