Q: Why did you choose the NC State Jenkins MBA program for your graduate education?
A: I’m employed at NC State and was looking for a program that help elevate my career to the next level. The Jenkins MBA gave me additional skill sets to help set me apart from others.
Q: How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
A: Thinking critically about problems that arise on a daily basis at work. From training employees or reviewing the department finances, have the working knowledge is very important.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA Program?
A: The faculty, staff, and students. Everyone was willing to work with others and be very supportive.
Q: What do you miss most now that you have graduated?
A: I miss talking with fellow classmates.
Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?
A: Some of the most impactful classes were business stats, people management, and entrepreneurship courses.
Q: What advice do you have for prospective Jenkins MBA students?
A: My advice would be to invest in yourself and work towards the goals you have set for yourself.
Q: What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?
A: In Higher Education, don’t limit yourself to one area of expertise. Be good at working with data, understanding data, and turning information to great business decisions.
Q: Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?
A: I provide data research for Enrollment Management at NC State and help strategic decision for our new freshmen, transfers, and continuing students.
