A native of Sanford, North Carolina, Rachel Stone studied operations and supply chain management in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University.  Over the past eight years, she has traveled internationally and throughout North America working in the Oil & Gas industry for Marathon Oil Corporation. Rachel is currently responsible for creating and managing the pipeline infrastructure strategy for water activities in North America.  Prior to her current role, she managed the international procurement and logistics team while developing the domestic material buying team. She was a guest speaker at the 2018 SAP-Centric EAM and Supply Chain conference, where she discussed her work integrating SAP Plant Maintenance/Materials Management system. She also has extensive contractual experience in locations such as North Dakota, Gulf of Mexico, and Equatorial Guinea, where she executed numerous short and long term agreements for proppant vertical integration, contingent labor, work over rigs, and chartering of offshore vessels.

Rachel enjoys a good challenge, problem solving, and team building; in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and beekeeping.  She strives to promote a collaborative and thought-provoking work environment for upcoming leaders and make a future positive community impact.  Rachel is pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management to leverage and further build on her strategic and leadership skills.
