Watkins, Olivia

Previous Education: B.A. in Environmental Biology, Barnard College, Columbia University

Olivia Watkins is a first-year full-time MBA student, concentrating in Technology and Entrepreneurship Commercialization (TEC) and Financial Management. Prior to beginning her MBA program, Olivia was an analyst at Croatan Institute, a research institution focused on impact investing and sustainable finance. 

Olivia currently sits on the Board of Directors at Soul Fire Farm Institute, a non-profit organization fighting for racial justice in the food system. She is passionate about sustainable agriculture and has been involved in grassroots organizing movements through Hawai’i Farmers Union United as a board member, and through Four Women Radicals by creating retreats for black women on O’ahu, Hawai’i, to develop a connection to sustainable agriculture and the food system.

In the future, Olivia looks forward to bringing her social impact leadership skills into the finance world and create opportunities for organizations to make sustainable financial investments and decisions.
