The Jenkins MBA Women’s Club is happy to announce the seventh annual Innovative Women’s Conference will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 via Zoom. The conference is a student initiative designed to bring together women in the Triangle area and beyond to encourage discussion and hands on learning in the areas of business innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
The theme this year is Reimagine 2021: Exploring Our Connection to Change. We hope that participants have the opportunity to reflect on how they have connected with others during these unforeseeable times and also how they have connected with themselves.
We hope you join us during this half-day virtual event that includes two morning sessions, compelling transitional messages, informational videos, and a powerful keynote speech to end the event.

9 a.m. | Welcome
A short welcome from staff, faculty, and students of Poole College of Management.
9:30 a.m. | Resiliency Session
Amy Sargent with the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence will be delivering an online workshop to increase participants’ global understanding of resilience and how to develop it. Topics include positive psychology, staying grounded in values, Social & Emotional Intelligence, and connection & success.
10:30 a.m. | HerStories
Join us as we celebrate Poole College of Management Alumni. Hear alumni share a story on how change shaped them and their lessons learned from navigating times of change.
10:55 a.m | Leadership Panel
Hear from impactful women in a variety of industries on their successes and challenges to build the career they want, as well as how they got out of their comfort zones and left negative self talk at the door.
11:55 a.m. | HerStories
Join us as we celebrate Poole College of Management Alumni. Hear alumni share a story on how change shaped them and their lessons learned from navigating times of change.
12:20 p.m. | Keynote Address
Gina Loften, the Chief Technology Officer for Microsoft U.S., will take us through her journey to leadership as well as talk about how the past year has impacted her as a leader.
1:30 p.m. | Closing Address
Join us for some short closing remarks as we close out the conference.
