Catherine is a Clinical Research Manager and the Technical Director of the Brain Body Research Program in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest School of Medicine. The program primarily evaluates a noninvasive, closed-loop, acoustic neuromodulation technology to mitigate the effects of traumatic stress, anxiety, and insomnia, while also improving autonomic function. Catherine is an experienced researcher and has participated in the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of over 12 clinical trials, enrolling over 700 participants. She has co-authored 12 manuscripts and 40 scientific abstracts on topics from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, hypertension, and insomnia, to episodic migraine. Catherine’s passion is to improve health, healing, and wellbeing, and to offer society a safe, cost-effective, noninvasive, non-drug solution for stress management and resilience.

Catherine is a third year MBA student concentrating in Innovation Management. Catherine is a Professional Online MBA Student Ambassador for the Jenkins Program. In this role, she answers questions from prospective students and participates in recruiting activities.

She grew up in North Carolina and completed her undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening, baking, and spending time with friends.
