NC State Climbs in US News & World Report Ranking of Online MBA Programs

U.S. News & World Report ranked the NC State Poole College of Management’s Jenkins Professional Online MBA program No. 14 in the United States in its 2018 Best Online MBA Programs rankings released today.

The new ranking represents an upward move of four places for NC State’s program over the previous year’s rank and is the fourth consecutive year the Jenkins Professional Online MBA has shown up among the top-20 MBA programs.

The publication also ranked the NC State program among the top-10 best MBA programs for military veterans based on factors including accessibility, military financial aid and benefits, and class composition. Methodology and other details regarding the veterans ranking can be found on the US News site.

“The NC State online MBA program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals who are looking to get ahead in business and in life.  The new US News ranking is entirely consistent with what I hear from the students — a great student experience, the flexibility required to make an MBA program manageable, and a tremendous value,” said Steve Allen, associate dean for graduate programs and research at the Poole College of Management.

This year’s ranking was based on a combination of factors, including student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and student services and technology. This marks US News & World Report’s seventh annual ranking of online graduate management programs and the fourth time the publication has distinctly ranked online MBA programs.
