Flexible Formats

Our adaptable formats allow both full-time students and working professionals to achieve their career objectives with AACSB-accredited MBA options for every lifestyle. Whether you want to accelerate your learning or have flexible pacing options, our programs are designed to help you succeed. You also have the ability to create a customized mix of online and face-to-face courses.

STEM MBA

As of fall 2020, Jenkins is one of a small number of business schools designated as a STEM MBA. Our program is designed to combine data-driven decision-making and analytics with the overall MBA program learning objectives of developing a global and entrepreneurial mindset, building a deep understanding of business fundamentals, and leading high-performing teams.

The STEM MBA designation prepares students to fulfill the increasing need to apply quantitative and scientific methods to business challenges. Those who pursue the Jenkins MBA will be able to demonstrate expertise in subjects such as statistics, data analytics, operations and supply chain, finance, and digital marketing and modeling. 

For international students, the STEM designation offers an additional benefit. Optional practical training (OPT) provides many F-1 visa students with the opportunity to work in the U.S for up to 12 months, gaining valuable experience related to their field of study. Students graduating from the Jenkins MBA program may apply for a 24-month extension to their post-completion OPT, providing up to 36 months of temporary employment in the U.S.

Full-time MBA

Program Length: 21 months

Delivery: Core classes are offered on NC State campus during regular business hours. The majority of electives are completed via online and/or evening courses.

Concentrations: Technology entrepreneurship and commercialization, innovation management, marketing management, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, financial management.

High-impact experiences: Internships, job search, global programs, student organizations, case competitions, leadership series.

Start: August

Financial Aid: Graduate assistantships and scholarships are available for selected full-time students

Online MBA

Program Length:  21 months or up to 6 years (most students complete the degree in 3 years)

Delivery: Asynchronous online with two three-day required residencies (online synchronous classes also available); or by mixing online and in-person classes (weekend hybrid classes available)

Certificates: Business analytics, business leadership, technology entrepreneurship and commercialization, marketing, finance, operations and supply chain management.

High-impact experiences: Two in-person residencies in Raleigh and optional global programs, leadership program, career coaching and networking events.

Start: August or January

Financial Aid: Scholarships are available for selected online students
