|In-State Tuition||Out-of-State Tuition|
|Professional Main Campus||$46,155-$60,000**||varies*|
*Varies, depending on how many courses are taken per semester and the time taken to convert to NC residency.
** Tuition rates are based on 2019-20 figures and are subject to change.
Full tuition information can be found on the Student Services Website:
- Main Campus rates (Full-time and Professional Evening)
- Distance Education rates (Professional Evening RTP and Online)
Actual tuition will depend on several factors, including:
- The number of credit hours taken during an academic term.
- When you take a course.
- The length of time it takes to complete your degree.
- Whether you take courses outside of your “base” location or format.
Overall fees are expected to slightly increase each year (mandated by legislature or university). A typical increase is 3 percent.
If you are a US citizen who is not a North Carolina resident, your fees will likely decrease your second year once you qualify for in-state residency.
All entering students should expect to pay a one-time $100 fee to the MBA Student Association (MBASA). The fee is used for professional and social student events and MBA student club activities.
Applicants to NC State typically have their initial tuition residency status determined based on responses they provide as part of their application to the MBA program. More information about residency status may be found on The Graduate School website.
