Loans

Loans are a common tool for Jenkins MBA students who want to finance their education. Ranging from federal education loans to private loans--there are many different lending options for students. We've listed a few on this page. However, students are encouraged to research additional means of support to ensure they are prepared to meet their financial needs.

Long-term Loans

The U.S. Department of Education offers low-interest loans to eligible students to help cover the cost of college or career school. Students may be eligible to receive subsidized and unsubsidized loans based on their financial need. (Some people refer to these loans as Stafford Loans or Direct Stafford Loans.)

Loans are:

  • Long-term, low-interest federal loans, including Federal Stafford Loans
  • Require students to be: U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens with demonstrated need; Full-time or Professional MBA students taking a minimum of 4.5 credit hours per semester.
