Q: Why did you choose the NC State Jenkins MBA program for your graduate education?
A: I chose Jenkins because of its outstanding academic reputation and the distance education option. I was employed full time and did not have the ability to attend classes on campus so the Online MBA program was the best for me.
Q: How did your experience in the program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?
A: The experiences I had in the program were invaluable to my professional achievement. I was able to obtain advanced positions due to the knowledge and expertise I gained as part of the Jenkins MBA program.
Q: What did you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MBA program?
A: I really enjoyed the ability to study at my own pace and “attend” classes as my schedule permitted. The professors were very helpful and engaged, albeit remotely.
Q: What do you miss most now that you have graduated?
A: The active learning community. I really enjoyed getting to know the people within my classes and small groups and we all cheered each other on.
Q: What are a few of the most impactful classes/lessons you learned during your time at NC State?
A: Classes: Economics, Sustainability, Finance
Q: What are your lasting impressions of the Jenkins MBA program?
A: I am forever grateful for the program. I also routinely recommend the program to others seeking an advanced business degree.
Q: What advice would you give for prospective and current students who are interested in your industry/profession?
A: I am a practicing physician and the MBA has enabled me to see the “other side” of medicine (the business side) in a whole new light. I strongly recommend that physician leaders consider obtaining an MBA to give them insight into how they develop the health industry of the future.
