Jenkins Alumni Summit

For NC State Jenkins MBA and Master of Management alumni

The Jenkins Alumni Summit brings Jenkins MBA and Master of Management alumni back to campus for a full day of professional learning, conversation and time to reconnect with the Jenkins community.

The Summit will run 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a networking social following the sessions.

This is the second annual Summit, and the first to bring MBA and Master of Management alumni together. Alumni from every graduation year and program format are welcome.

  • Regular rate: $125 after October 30

How to Register

  1. Click here to enroll for the Summit through the NC State online registration “Reporter” platform.
  2. Click the GREEN button “Add to Cart”. You will be prompted to create a “Brickyard Account” (We know, we know … another login, another password … such is our digital life! Be sure to save this login/password.).
  3. Click the GREEN button “Proceed to Order Summary,” then click the GREEN button “Checkout” and follow the online payment procedure.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation.

Human-Centered Leadership in the Age of AI

Brad Kirkman, General (Ret.) H. Hugh Shelton Distinguished Professor of Leadership, NC State Poole College of Management

Organizations are still working out which tasks to hand to AI and which stay with people. Brad will make the case that the core of human leadership won’t change: empathy, adaptability, creativity and emotional intelligence stay essential, however advanced AI becomes.

Leading in the Age of Agentic AI

Peter Kim, Senior Staff Architect, Cloud & AI Infrastructure FinOps, NVIDIA

AI is moving from tools that answer questions to agents that take action. What does that shift mean for the people leading teams, budgets and decisions? Peter brings an inside view from NVIDIA on how leaders can prepare. Peter is also a Jenkins MBA alum and member of the Poole College IT, Analytics and Operations (ITAO) Advisory Board.

Panel: Marketing Yourself

Learn how AI is changing recruiting and hiring: industry trends, common pitfalls, and advice for alumni who want to advance in their careers or change direction. Jenn Woodhull-Smith, lecturer in entrepreneurship at Poole College of Management, will moderate the panel. Panelists include:
