Student Organizations

Meet other students, network with business leaders, have fun, get involved in service projects, build leadership skills – just a few of the benefits of joining a Jenkins MBA student organization.

Clubs and Organizations

The MBA Student Association (MBASA) provides a chance for students to interact with fellow students, faculty, business leaders, and the surrounding community. The organization offers a series of activities to address professional and business issues that are not generally included in the formal program but are critical to the overall MBA experience.

The goal of the Jenkins Graduate Delegates (JGD) is to provide an outlet and voice for Jenkins Graduate student feedback, including Online MBA and Master of Management students. This is done to continually improve the quality of the student and academic experiences.

The Finance Club provides educational and social networking events to enhance the finance MBA classroom experience and to expose students to professional development opportunities in the industry.

We achieve our mission by providing access to faculty, alumni, and industry experts to learn about marketing job profiles and responsibilities, the skills needed to succeed in today’s marketplace, relevant marketing topics through events, case competitions and discussions.

The Jenkins Minorities in Business Student Association (MIBSA) was established in the Fall of 2020 and is excited to bring this association to our students.  The mission of our MIBSA is to provide a community for minority graduate students exploring business interests. MIBSA offers tools, resources, and opportunities that develop our members in leadership and in professional settings. We aim to establish a professional network of business students from all backgrounds who are committed to supporting and uplifting underrepresented groups in Corporate America. Please email jenkinsmibsa@ncsu.edu to find out more.

Student Ambassadors

We need your help!

The most frequent request we receive from prospective MBA students is the opportunity to interact with current students, and your assistance enables us to give them a perspective only an NC State MBA student can provide.

The time commitment involved is minimal (typically 10 hours/semester), and your participation will make a tremendous impact on the future of the NC State MBA program.

As an Ambassador, you will be listed on the Student Ambassador website and respond to prospective student questions via email.  You may also be asked to make some of the following contributions:

  • Hosting a prospective student in one of your classes.  This involves meeting the prospective student a few minutes prior to class to introduce him or her to your classmates.
  • Taking a prospective student on a campus tour.
  • Participating in webinars and/or MBA events for prospective students.

Interested?

Please fill out the Jenkins MBA Ambassador Application so it may be reviewed by the MBA Office. If you are selected, you will be notified by email, and a short profile will be created on the Student Ambassador website. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Dixon, Director of Admissions mddixon@ncsu.edu.

Thanks so much for your participation!
