SAP Certificate

Offered to current Jenkins graduate management students, the SAP University Alliances (UA) Program provides coursework in SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The SAP UA Student Certificate is issued by the Poole College of Management in collaboration with the SAP UA Program.

Curriculum

In 2009, the Jenkins Graduate School of Management launched the SAP University Alliances Program in the NC State University Poole College of Management to provide courses using SAP, the world leader in enterprise software. SAP customers include 92% of the Forbes Global 2000 companies and 98% of the 100 most valued brands. Approximately 75% of the world’s transaction revenue touches an SAP system. Knowledge of SAP ERP software is a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The program is led by Dr. Marianne Bradford, professor of accounting.

The following courses must be completed to earn the certificate:

  • MBA 515 Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (3hrs)
  • MBA 590 (Advanced) ERP Configuration Using SAP (1hr)

Note: MBA 515 is a pre-req or co-req for MBA 590. Typically, MBA 515 is offered fall and spring semesters, and MBA 590 is offered online during the second half of the spring semester.

Upon completion of the courses, students are eligible to receive the SAP UA Student Certificate. This certificate is issued by the college and signed by both Professor Bradford, the NCSU SAP UA Coordinator, and the Director of the UA in North America.

This certificate program is not formally recognized by the NC State University Graduate School and will not be noted as such on your official transcript.
