SAP Certificate

Offered to current Jenkins graduate management students, the SAP University Alliances (UA) Program provides coursework in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, SAP. The SAP Student Recognition Award is issued by the Poole College of Management in collaboration with the SAP UA Program.

Curriculum

In 2009, the Jenkins Graduate School of Management launched the SAP University Alliances Program in the NC State University Poole College of Management to provide courses using SAP, the world leader in enterprise software.

The SAP Student Recognition Award is issued by the Poole College of Management in collaboration with the SAP UA Program. This certificate program is not formally recognized by the NC State University Graduate School and will not be noted as such on your official transcript.

Currently, 87 percent of the Forbes Global 2000 companies use SAP and 75 percent of the world’s transaction revenue touches an SAP system.

The program is led by Dr. Marianne Bradford, associate professor of accounting.

Courses to be completed for certification:

  • MBA 515 Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (3 credit hours)
  • MBA 590 (Advanced) ERP Configuration Using SAP (1 credit hour)

Note: MBA 515 is a pre-req or co-req for MBA 590. Typically, MBA 515 is offered fall and spring semesters, and MBA 590 is offered online during the second half of the spring semester.

Upon completion of the courses, students are eligible to receive the SAP Student Recognition Award. This certificate is issued by the college and signed by Professor Bradford (who is the SAP UA Coordinator for NCSU) and the National SAP UA Program Director.
