Q: What drew you to the Jenkins MBA program? How did the program complement your undergrad studies (or took you in a different direction)?

A. The program offers an exceptional value for the investment. The marketing program specifically offers ample opportunity to work directly with local companies across industries (CPG, Tech, Textiles, etc).

Q: What are some value points gained from your MBA experience and how are you applying what you’ve learned in your current role?

A: The Jenkins MBA program has a strong focus on group work with team members from other concentrations.  My current role at Nestle Purina requires a lot of cross-functional leadership and work, and I’m grateful for the experiences I had at NC State as they prepared me to work effectively with colleagues other business functions.

Q: Advice for prospective students considering the Jenkins MBA program?

A: Meet with current students and professors before making up your mind on where to attend! One thing that separates the Jenkins MBA program from others is the real life experience many of the professors bring to the classroom.
