Lifelong Career Support
The Poole Career Center provides MBA alumni with resources to effectively navigate the career management process, professional network and alumni connections as you transition to various positions throughout your lifetime and career.
A Lifelong Connection
The Poole Career Center engages with MBA alumni throughout their careers. We encourage you to take advantage of this support, including the Virtual Career Management Center, and to remain active within the NC State MBA community by contributing your time and industry knowledge.
Virtual Career Management Center
The NC State Jenkins MBA Moodle site is a virtual career management center providing 24-hour access to a variety of resources. Through each of the categories below, we help students advance their careers while positioning them to be life learners and teachers. Through career coaching, industry insights, and networking with fellow alumni, you will gain just as much as you give back to the Jenkins community:
- Professional development: You will have access to a comprehensive array of online resources to aid in gathering industry information, including resume/cover letter writing, job search, and interview preparation. Resources are also available for those interested in being connected to a career coach.
- Alumni engagement: As an alumnus, you will receive updates regarding occasional on-campus and in-community networking events, opportunities to connect current students with alumni, as well as ongoing virtual communication and information sharing between your fellow alumni and the career center.
- Volunteerism: On occasion, the career center will work closely with Student Services, Alumni Relations, and the surrounding community to offer student-alumni events. Career programs serve as excellent opportunities for you to share your experience and industry expertise with current Jenkins students and fellow alumni.
You may access the Virtual Career Management Center through our website.
