Vanessa is committed to holistic student development and focused on how to help students self-author their college education and experience. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, she received her B.A. in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut and then her M.Ed in College Student Personnel from Ohio University. During her graduate studies she focused her seminar paper on time perception and how to reframe time management for the modern college student. Fun Facts: Growing up 45 minutes outside of New York City, Vanessa had great exposure to Broadway and has seen over 50 shows (some of them more than once!). She is an avid reader and podcast listener, so if you are in need of suggestions she is your woman.

For a list of practicum courses, you can access the course descriptions below – practicum courses are notated with a *P.

Students are also required to complete electives. The number of hours depends on the credit hours of your practicum course. The MBA program provides many 3-hour and 1-hour electives to fulfill your elective requirements. Your advisor will help you select the electives that best serve your interests and plan of work.

Online students can complete the program in a flexible or accelerated format. Your advisor can help you choose the best option based on your academic, professional and personal needs.
